Therapy with me

Therapy is all about having someone in your corner. It's a place where you can talk openly, make sense of life's challenges, learn new ways to cope, and create positive change in a safe and supportive environment.

Therapy Starts From Within

Therapy starts from within by exploring who you are as a person, the experiences that have shaped you, the environment around you, and how you see and understand the world through your own eyes.

Together, we will explore your thoughts, feelings, values, relationships, strengths, and challenges to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and what may be influencing your wellbeing. Your journey is unique, and therapy is a space to explore your story with curiosity, compassion, and without judgement.

My Story

I come from a German heritage, born in Munich before my family migrated to Australia. Growing up between cultures shaped my appreciation for identity, belonging, and the unique experiences that influence who we become.

I have traveled to Italy, France, Switzerland, New Zealand, Austria, England, and all of the Australian States/Territories (except Tasmania).

My academic journey began with a degree in Wildlife Conservation, which fostered my appreciation for the connection between people, animals, and the environments we share. Through exploring different pathways, including hands-on work on a station in Far North Queensland, I discovered my passion for supporting people and understanding their individual journeys.

This led me towards a career in counselling, where I continue to develop my skills and knowledge to provide a safe, compassionate, and supportive space for others.

Therapy as a journey

Person-centred approach - because we are all unique in our own way

Understanding your story - this is vital for understanding your needs, and how we can achieve growth and progress

Looking beneath the surface - sometimes deep-diving beyond what we think shapes us can reveal some exciting and challenging new insights

Practical problem-solving - it has to work functionally for you and your life

A strengths-based approach - you are not broken, far from it. There are many ways you already have the skills to facilitate change, and we will find these

Thinking outside the box - your journey does not have to be linear; it can be wacky and obscure

A flexible and personalised journey - we are all unique; therefore, every approach will be different. We will find out together what works and then stick with it.

How I Work

You are not broken; you are human.

Every behaviour has a story. Understanding the story creates compassion and the opportunity for change.

You are not behind. You are learning, adapting, and growing at your own pace.

You are stronger than you realise.

What I Believe
Compassion creates the foundation for growth.
You are not broken; you are human.
Every behaviour has a story.
Understanding the story creates compassion and the opportunity for change.

Sometimes the environment needs to change.

Not the person.
You don't have to know the answer.

You just need somewhere to begin.
