Practice Administration & Support

I’m part of the Simmons Psychotherapy administration and support team, helping with the many things that happen behind the scenes to keep the practice organised, accessible and running smoothly.

My role includes supporting enquiries and administration, researching useful information and resources, helping develop content for families, schools and professionals, and assisting with website and social media projects. I also enjoy organising information and finding practical ways to make resources easier for people to understand and use.

My Story

Being part of Simmons Psychotherapy as Practice Administration & Support has given me the opportunity to contribute in a way that feels meaningful to me. I enjoy being behind the scenes, helping things run smoothly and making sure people can find the information and support they need.

For me, it’s about more than administration. It’s about knowing that the work I do, even when it happens behind the scenes, can help make someone’s experience a little clearer, easier and more welcoming.

I’m naturally organised, curious and detail-focused, and I like finding ways to make things clearer and more manageable. I enjoy being someone the team can rely on to follow things through, organise information and help turn ideas into useful resources.

Outside of work, I enjoy learning new things, researching topics that interest me and finding small ways to stay organised and productive. I value being part of a team where curiosity, compassion and practical support are taken seriously

understanding before changing..

One of the things I enjoy most about working with Simmons Psychotherapy is being able to contribute to work that focuses on understanding people rather than simply trying to change their behaviour. I particularly enjoy the research side of my role—looking into topics such as positive behaviour support, school support, reasonable adjustments, attendance, advocacy and resources that can make a genuine difference for young people and their families.

I’m not a counsellor, therapist or clinician, and I don’t
provide clinical support. My role is to support the practice and the people within it through administration, research, communication and the work that happens behind the scenes.

What I Believe
Good support often happens behind the scenes.
Making things easier wherever possible.

A Few Things About Me

Beyond the professional

I enjoy spending time with family and friends and making time for the simple things that help me recharge.

I also value the simple things in life — spending time with the people I care about, staying connected and continuing to learn and grow along the way.
